“The more laws a society has the more corrupt it is.”
In a civil a society the government should do three things, since the government is force and coercion.
- 1. It should protect your from force from inside I.E. the Police
- 2. It should protect you from force from the outside I.E. the Military
- 3. It should supply a court system so you can resolve disputes without force
Unfortunately those three functions are so important to the running of a civil society that they cannot be trusted to the kinds of people who go into government.
